Scalding Cereal Probed In Patient Death

HATFIELD TOWNSHIP, Pa. - There is a petition to exhume the body of an elderly Alzheimer's patient. Officials say he died days after being fed scalding-hot cereal by a worker at a Montgomery County facility.

An aide at the Cambridge Brightfield Personal Care Facility in Hatfield Township, Pa. is facing four charges, including aggravated assault, reported Fox 29's Joyce Evans.

The County Coronor is calling the man's death homicide after seeing official reports and graphic pictures of the injuries.

As Fox 29 Investigates reports, it's not the first time there have been problems at the facility.
