Pa. Guardsman Detained In Dubai Prison

GLENDOLDEN, Pa. - A Delaware County man is stuck behind bars in the Middle East.

He was on his way to Afghanistan to work for a security contractor when he was detained in Dubai.

Spc. Michael Joslin, 28, of Glenolden, had a layover in the United Arab Emirates and that is where the trouble started, reported Fox 29’s John Atwater.

Authorities at the airport in Dubai found a gun and prescription medication in his checked luggage - both of which are apparently illegal there.

The incident happened on May 9 and he's still being detained.
