Busy Road Closed For Newborn Toadlets

PHILADELPHIA - "Road Closed" is what you'll be greeted with if you try to come down one Roxborough street the next couple days.

It's all to accomodate Philly's tiniest residents on the move this weekend. Newly hatched toadlets are crossing.

The baby toads are going from reservoir to woods, reported Fox 29's John Atwater.

Two months ago, their parents crossed the street to mate in a Roxborough reservoir. Now the toadlets are heading back.

The Toad Detour Project coordinator asks drivers to keep an eye out.
