Two Dead In Multi-Car Collision

PHILADELPHIA - Two people in a sports car, driving at a high rate of speed, have died in an accident in Southwest Philadelphia.

Police say a Lamborghini was speeding through the 7000 block of Essington Avenue around 6:00pm Friday. The car crossed the median and collided with two other vehicles.

Police say a 60-year-old man and a 30-year-old man died.

Two other people were taken to the hospital. Their injuries are not life-threatening.

A police investigation is underway.
