2 Fatally Shot In Northern Liberties

PHILADELPHIA - Two people were shot and killed Saturday afternoon inside the Piazza at Schmidt's in Northern Liberties.

Sources told Fox29 on Sunday that police found significant amounts of drugs and cash inside the apartment.

Cops were called out to the scene around 5:45 p.m.  Upon arriving they found two people shot on the seventh floor of the building located at 1050 N. Hancock Street.  The victims include a white female in her 30's and a black male also thought to be in his 30's.   The woman has been identified as 34-year-old Rian Thal.  The man has not been identified.

Police say they are looking for two or three suspects who were seen leaving the building after the shooting.

Police are also reviewing surveillance video from the area.
