Fifth McDonald¿s Robbed In Past Month

Philadelphia police are looking for robbers who hit an Oxford Circle McDonald’s on Sunday afternoon.

This is the 5th robbery at a McDonalds in the past month in Philadelphia.

Police have arrested one person in connection with the Sunday robbery and are looking for two others.

Detectives say they don’t know why McDonalds is being targeted, since they all have surveillance cameras.

On Sunday, three men robbed the restaurant at lunch time on Roosevelt Boulevard and Oxford Avenue.

They brandished a gun, jumped the counter and left with about $300. Police arrested one man and are reviewing surveillance tapes.

Last month, Philadelphia police arrested two men, including a former employee, in connection with three Philadelphia McDonald’s robberies.

A McDonald’s in Limerick Township was also robbed recently but it hasn’t been connection to the arrested suspects.
