Serial Groper Hits Broad Street Subway

Police say several people have become victims of assault on the Broad Street Line.

Since  April 25, there have been four of indecent assault have been reported to the Special Victims Unit.

Police say the incidents appear to have been committed by the same person, who approaches victims from behind and gropes them.

In one case, the victim was knocked to the ground.

Each crime occurred in the Broad Street Subway concourse or stairwell between 12 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. in South Philadelphia.

The subject is described as black male, mid to late teens, thick build, 6 feet tall, medium to dark complexion.

The most recent incident was on July 8.
