PHILADELPHIA - As neighbors in Montgomery County continue to recover from flooding earlier this month, officials there are pushing an emergency alert system in case it happens again.
Fox 29's Julie Kim reported Monday that a not a whole lot of peopel are signed on to this alert system. For example, out of 17 thousand Whitemarsh township residents, less than a third get notifications. With a storm and damage fresh in some of the neighbors minds, that number will surely go up.
Tuesday night, Whitemarsh Township police will set up shop in another hard hit area to sign people ip. They'll be on Kottler Drive and Field Drive in Layfette Hill from 6:30 p.m. ET - 8:30 p.m. Et.
