Woman Killed With Samurai Sword

NEW CASTLE, Del. - New Castle County police say a 21-year-old woman died after being stabbed with a four-foot samurai sword.

Police say the woman's 21-year-old boyfriend, Michael Kolesar, has been charged with manslaughter for the death of his girlfriend.

It happened in the unit block of Sandlewood Drive in the Glen Eagle Village Apartments. Officers were called to the scene shortly after 1 a.m. Sunday.

Police say the woman was stabbed in the upper torso during an argument, which began at a local bar and continued after they returned to Kolesar's apartment.

Her body was found in a rear bedroom of the home.
