PHILADELPHIA - It was considered a missing Phillies World Series ring. Now police say it was, in fact, stolen.
Officers reviewed surveillance tapes and questioned employees Tuesday at Citizens Bank Park.
A member of the Phillies marketing department left the ring in a restroom at the team's offices Monday. When he came back half an hour later, the ring was gone.
The ring, which commemorates the Phillies' 2008 title win, has an estimated value of $11,000.
Anyone with information is asked to call police.
