Funeral Plans Set For Slain Patrolman

GEORGETOWN, Del. - A candlelight vigil is planned for Friday night in memory of a slain Delaware police officer.

The vigil for Patrolman Chad Spicer will be held from 6 to 7 p.m. in the circle in downtown Georgetown

Spicer was shot and killed Tuesday night while responding to a shots fired call at a McDonald's in the Sussex County community. Police are still seeking one suspect in the shooting, 20-year-old Christopher Reeves.

Services are scheduled for Tuesday at the Crossroads Community Church in Georgetown. Burial will be at the Cokesbury Cemetery.
