PHILADELPHIA - The writing is literally on Kate Gosselin's Facebook wall for TLC's “Jon & Kate Plus 8.”

The reality TV mom says on her Facebook fan page that poor viewership has put the once-popular show in danger.
"With ratings falling, this might be the last season of Jon and Kate plus 8. I'm not sure yet," Gosselin wrote to fans this weekend.
She is also now going by the name Kate Kreider-Gosselin on Facebook.

Ratings for “Jon & Kate Plus 8” have taken a historic tumble, falling 84 percent since June.
Last Monday’s show drew just 1.71 million viewers, down from a season high of 10.6 million in June.
The show has dropped well off the top 25 cable list, trailing shows like “Sons Of Anarchy” and “Sponge Bob” by millions of viewers.
The TLC reality show came back from a hiatus, triggered by scandals and divorce, to an audience of 4.2 million viewers on August 3.
Since then, the show has seen viewership at the 1.7 million level, a 60 percent drop off since August 3.

The Gosselins made between $50,000 and $70,000 per episode for “Jon & Kate Plus 8.” The show has about 25 episodes to go this season.
The couple allegedly bought a $1.3 million estate in Wernersville, Pa., last year.
The fighting reality TV parents separated in June and will be divorced by the end of October.
