Cassidy Murder Penalty Phase Hearing Postponed
PHILADELPHIA - Convicted cop-killer John Lewis will have to wait at least one more day to learn his fate.
He was convicted last week of first-degree murder in the 2007 death of Philadelphia police Officer Chuck Cassidy.
Monday's penalty phase hearing was postponed because one of Lewis' lawyers had to attend a funeral.
The jury will be back in the courtroom Tuesday.
They're deciding between life in prison or the death penalty.
