A Northampton County college student has been charged in connection with a string of robberies set up through Craigslist.com, authorities said.
Police busted 22-year-old Corey Jackson in Philadelphia back in September on similar charges.
Police said that, in a June 18 robbery, Jackson responded to an online ad, doused a man with pepper spray and stole a $14,000 diamond ring from him.
In the latest case, police say Jackson posed as a buyer interested in jewelry and stole expensive rings from the sellers, and offered the sale of a computer but took the cash then wrestled the laptop back.
Jackson is in Northampton County Prison under $75,000 bail on charges of robbery, theft, and related counts.
Jackson is a student at East Stroudsburg University.
