Armed Robbery Suspect Takes Own Photo

PHILADELPHIA - Philadelphia police are asking for the public's help in finding an armed robbery suspect they say took a picture of himself using his victim’s cell phone.

It happened on the 1000 block of Nedro Avenue in Northwest Philadelphia on October 7 around 10:10 p.m.

Police say the man drew a gun and stole a woman's bag and cell phone.

The suspect is described as a black male, approximately 18-23 years old, 5'11 to 6', dark complexion, wearing a gray hoodie and blue jeans.
