Man Who Hid Cop-Killer Gets Probation

    PHILADELPHIA - The man who helped John Lewis run from authorities after the murder of police Officer Chuck Cassidy was sentenced Monday.

    Hakim Glover was convicted of hindering apprehension and obstructing justice.

    Glover received 12 months time served and two years probation.

    Prosecutors say Glover drove Lewis to Delaware so he could catch a bus to Florida after shooting the officer.

    Lewis was sentenced to death last month for Cassidy’s murder.
