Charges In File-Sharing Child Porn Case

MEDIA, Pa. - A Delaware County man has been charged in a child pornography case after authorities say they infiltrated a private file-sharing network.

Authorities say 35-year-old David Walton used the peer-to-peer network to disseminate at least 50 sexual images of children, some as young as 3.

District Attorney G. Michael Green said Thursday that investigators used new high-tech software to access the private network.

Walton faces charges including possession and dissemination of child pornography. He was arrested at his home in Marcus Hook on Wednesday.

Walton is being held in lieu of $500,000 bail.
