On October 15, 2009 Andre Steed was walking down Locust Street near 16th Street when a man on a bike hit him. Both were knocked to the ground. The bicyclist got up, got on his bike, adjusted his handlebars, and rode away.
Steed was left on the ground, injured and semi-conscious. After being taken to the hospital he was put into a drug induced coma due to severe head injuries and swelling of the brain--he never woke up.
Sneed died on October 23rd and now his employers are offering $10,000 dollars for the arrest and conviction of the man who killed him, and rode away.
