West Whiteland police have charged Robert Jarjisian, 57, of Quarryville with Indecent Exposure, Corruption of Minors and Open Lewdness charges.
Jarjisian is scheduled for arraignment in front of judge on Monday night.
Police said Jarjisian was identified after several persons saw
surveillance photos from this incident on the news.
Over the weekend, a boy and his father talked exclusively to
Fox 29 about the incident.
The 12-year-old boy is traumatized and said he doesn't feel
safe being alone in public places anymore.
"I could hear what he was doing," said the victim. "I got
really uncomfortable. I was panicked and scared. I didn't know what
to do."
The boy was with his parents Saturday at the Macy's inside
Exton Square Mall. He was in a stall when the man allegedly made
contact with him.
"He looked into the crack of the stall," said the boy. Then
he says the suspect went into the stall next to him and the
unexpected happened.
"He kneeled down and exposed himself. He exposed his bottom part
to me," the boy said.
The boy courageously made a run for it and told his parents.
But on the way to security, they said they saw the suspect twice.
The boy's father said his first thought was, "I was this close to
punching the guy because I was so furious."
But the guy got away. Then police say the suspect came back.
They have surveillance video of him walking around.
"That person on the video had been seen walking back and
forth walking back and forth to that bathroom about four times that
night," said Detective Scott Pezick with West Whiteland Township
Police.
