PHILADELPHIA - Neighbors came to the rescue when a rowhome was engulfed in flames.
It happened around 2:30 a.m. inside a rowhome on the 2100 block of Alden Street. That's in Philadelphia's Kingsessing neighborhood.
Neighbors described how they helped rescue a 2-year-old from a second-floor balcony of the burning home.
"I dragged the mattress out of my house, it was on the porch. And the baby jumped first. She grabbed the baby. Then the grown-ups came. I told them to hang and jump and we'd catch them, and we did," said David Rose, who helped rescue neighbors.
One person was taken to a hospital. There was no immediate word on that person's condition.
