Langhorne Man Dies Fleeing Police

A Langhorne man has died after fleeing police in his car.

Police say 41-year old Christopher Bogdon hit a tree in the court yard of an apartment building. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police were called to the Middletown Trace Apartments, in the 800-block of Trenton Road in Langhorne, for a report of a "suicidal subject."

When they arrived, police say Bogdon jumped in a car and fled at a high rate of speed, hitting an officer's cruiser. Police say Bogdon continued driving fast through the apartment complex, eventually hitting the tree.

Police are looking into whether drugs or alcohol were a factor as they conduct their investigation.
