Man Charged With Stabbing Mother

A Chester County man has been charged with the stabbing death of his mother.

49 year old Lisa Driscoll was found with stab wounds to her head and upper body early Saturday morning at her home in Lower Oxford Township, PA,

28 year old Ian Matthew Driscoll is charged with her murder and is being held without bail.

Police say Ian Driscoll appeared at a neighbor's house covered in blood and holding a screw driver in his hand. He told the neighbor there had been an "incident". The neighbor called 911 and State Police went to the home at 206 Highland View Drive.

Upon their arrival police discovered Ian Driscoll in the house and observed that his hands and clothing were blood stained.

Driscoll was taken into custody and charged.
