Tanker Truck Fire On NJ Turnpike
Several lanes of the New Jersey Turnpike Southbound are closed because of a tanker fire.
The Turnpike Authority tells Fox 29 a tanker truck caught fire near an overpass between interchange 4 and 5. Southbound drivers should exit at 7A and take I-195 to I-295 South to avoid the area.
A structural engineer has been called to the scene to inspect the overpass.
Travellers should also expect delays Northbound on the turnpike.
