Sen. Kaufman: Del. Storm Cleanup

The state of Delaware continues to dig out from the weekend Nor'easter.

Delaware Senator Ted Kaufman stopped by "Good Day" Monday. He said crews in his state did a great job clearing roadways and he had no problem getting to Fox 29 in Old City. Kaufman said the storm is going to slam the state's budget, "it's tough." He told Mike and Sheinelle "we are not in any position to face anything like this because of the deep hole we've dug into. But we're getting better, the economy is coming back."

Kaufman also discussed Sarah Palin's weekend tea party speech. He said "most don't really follow what's happening, but they're upset, they're mad as hell and they're not gonna take it anymore and Sarah Palin is the one who appeals to them." Palin apparently had notes written on her hand during the speech. Kaufman joked "it's hard to keep track of all the issues."
