1 Dead, 2 Recovering After Car Accident

One teen is dead and two other people are recovering after a serious accident in the city's Torresdale section.

Police say a Ford Explorer crashed into the back of a truck.

Two of the victims were taken to St. Christopher's Hospital for Children and the other was taken to Frankford-Torresdale.  Officials say an 18-year-old male died of his injuries.

Police says the accident occurred around 5:30am Sunday at Torresdale and Briggs Street. Accident Investigators are still investigating the cause.
