Bank Robber In Eagles Garb Strikes Again

The FBI and Philadelphia Police believe Joseph Baer,39, has robbed his second bank in a three-day span.

On Tuesday, Baer, wearing a Donovan McNabb Eagles jersey, allegedly entered a PNC Bank on Frankford Avenue in Mayfair, and “verbally threatened the teller with violence.”

He was identified from tips received following the media’s coverage of that robbery.  Baer  was formally charged with that robbery on Thursday.

On Friday, The FBI released a statement and photos from a robbery that occurred at a Trumark Bank on JFK Boulevard at approximately 2:30pm, Friday.

The FBI identify the man in the pictures a Baer – this time he is wearing a Philadelphia Eagles cap and a tee shirt picturing John Lennon.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call the FBI at 215-418-4000 or the Philadelphia Police Department.

There may be a reward for information that leads to Baer's arrest and conviction.
