Body Found In Burning Car

Flashing lights and crime scene tape surround the once burning car in Malvern that has left investigators with a lot of questions.

When fire fighters got here on Phoenixville Pike, the car was still engulfed in flames, the body of a person inside the car. State police and the Chester county coroner are working to identify the person that and the cause of death will come from the autopsy.

Alcohol Tobacco and Firearms agents were also on the scene. They were called out because of reports of an explosion. They're also combing the area for any accelerants.

At this point, investigators don't believe the person inside was murdered and they stopped short of calling the death suspicious.
