The city's License and Inspections department tells Fox 29 it has cited the Downtowners Fancy Brigade for failing to have two licenses.
The department says a Special Assembly license is required when more than 50 people assemble in one place.
The club also needed an Amusement license because it had a Jukebox that took money to play music.
Earlier on Thursday, a Mummers Association spokesman told us that two members of the club, where a prostitution raid was conducted this week, have now been suspended.
Alfred Sanborn and John Murray were allegedly tending bar when the raid went down late Tuesday night, police said.
Murray, 56, of the 400 block of Steeple Chase Circle, in Deptford, N.J., and Sanborn, 44, of the 2400 block of South 3rd Street, face criminal conspiracy and violation of liquor laws counts, according to police.
The Downtowners Fancy Brigade has now suspended both men, pending the outcome of police and club investigations.
Police say 20 to 30 women were servicing up to 70 men during a wild night of drinking, eating and sex. There were also 29 kegs of beer at the facility.
A total of 10 women are charged with prostitution, arrested during the raid at the clubhouse, located at Second Street and Snyder Avenue.
A third man, Lawrence Crovetti, 65, of the unit block of 4th Street, Feasterville, Pa., is charged with criminal conspiracy, promoting prostitution and violation of liquor laws.
Police say this was a regular event held on the second Tuesday of each month, and they're investigating whether similar events were held elsewhere.
