Crews In Aston Search For Gas Leak

ASTON, Pa. - Emergency management officials are trying to determine the source of an apparent gasoline leak in a Philadelphia suburb.

Firefighters were called to a home in Aston, Delaware County, after reports of gas fumes at about 9:30 p.m. Tuesday. Several surrounding homes were evacuated while crews tried to locate the source of the vapors.

The Pennsylvania Emergency Management Agency has been called to the scene and officials believe the fumes are coming from a 
ConocoPhillips tank farm in the area.

Crews are still working to locate and repair the source of the leak. No injuries have been reported.

Aston is about 15 miles southwest of Philadelphia.
