Expiring Tax Cuts Affect Local Business

Many small business owners that make more than $200,000 (as individuals) or $250,000 (as a family) are now preparing for stormy business seas ahead if the “Bush era” tax cuts expire at the end of this year.

Fox 29’s Sean Tobin introduces us to Laura Kelly.  Laura owns “The Handwork Studio”, a needle art studio for kids, in Narberth. She employs 34 people in nine locations, and is growing.

On a personal side, as a family, she is over that $250,000 threshold.

If these tax cuts are not extended, what will happen to her business?

Watch Sean’s report.
