Fireworks:Leave It To The Professionals

This weekend, as you go out to enjoy the holiday with your friends and family, the US Consumer Product Safety Commission is urging everyone to be careful. Injuries from fireworks increase dramatically this weekend in particular.

Fox 29’s Sharon Crowley reports live from Penn’s Landing where they are gearing up for this weekend’s fireworks celebration. The professionals are running the fireworks display – and that is exactly how the staff at the Wills Eye Institute at Jefferson would like people to watch fireworks.

In fact, doctors and staff members at Wills are readying for one of its’ busiest weekends.

Sharon brings us a cautionary tale – one that may have you thinking twice about going to an amateur fireworks display.

The bottom line – do not try your own fireworks show at home.
