WOODSTOWN, N.J. - Thanksgiving has a number of meanings for many people, but tradition is usually a common thread, and that tradition is football games against a rival team in many local communities.
On Thursday, the Woodstown Wolverines took to the field for the annual showdown with the Salem High School Rams.
The weather was perfect, and the fans turned out in droves just as they have done for 100 years since the football teams first clashed in 1911.
Many of the fans had once played for the teams just as their fathers and even grandfathers had done before them.
Fox 29’s Bruce Gordon took in the 100th game against the rivals Thursday.
