FOP Party Draws Protesters & Supporters

The invitation posted on the FOP Web site said "Our Guys Are Back" (Helicopter Video Incident).   It asked members to come to the FOP lodge on Spring Garden to show support - to celebrate the return of the officers who were caught on tape by SkyFox in May 2008 beating three murder suspects.  

These officers were cleared of all charges however, the Friday evening festivities drew about two dozen angry protesters.

Also present were some individuals who showed their support for the police.

At one point there was a heated exchange between the protesters and that group.
