Punxsutawney, Pa. - MyFoxPhilly.com polled 19 weather-forecasting groundhogs and we have the results about six more weeks of winter.
Video: Phil Has Accident On Camera | Phil Says 6 More Weeks
And it looks like Punxsutawney Phil is in the majority of well-informed rodents.
Phil and 12 of his fellow groundhogs saw his shadow on Tuesday morning, meaning we will have six more weeks of winter.
In the minority, General Beauregard Lee (Phil’s primary rival) and five other rodents said “no shadow” and no more extended winter.
Lee does have some weight in the weather community, since he has an honorary doctorate degree from the University of Georgia.
But Phil is the world’s leading groundhog.
