NEWARK, Del. - When you think of the iPod, you probably think music. But for children with autism, they're not just fun – iPods can actually help them learn.
With 1 in every 110 children on the autism spectrum, communities across the country are trying to use iPods and iPads in the classroom. The good news is that schools can invest in iPods and iPads, as they are relatively inexpensive compared to more conventional technology, which can cost in the thousands. Most importantly, these programs are very successful.
