At most schools cell phones are checked at the door. But what if your child was faced with an emergency: Should he or she have access to a cell phone in the classroom?
The Perkiomen Valley School District is considering allowing its students to bring devices like kindle, laptops and blackberrys into the classroom.
But school administrators say they could take it away at any time.
