It's Your Dime: Free Newspapers

We all want our state lawmakers to be informed, but do we have to pay for their newspapers?

I am sure we would all like a free copy of the New York Times or the Washington Post every day and you can – if you are a member of the Pennsylvania house.

Did you know that over the next 6 months, taxpayers will shell out $17,534 to buy newspapers for members of the PA House of Representatives and several house offices and committees – and that is just for the first half of the year.
