Former reality TV star Kate Gosselin will not appear in Paula Deen’s new talk show after a try out in September.

Radar Online first reported that Gosselin will not appear in the show.

Kate, 34, did several segments for the “Mom Logic” talk show pilot in New York City with Deen and several other woman.

But word came this weekend that Gosselin did not make the cut and the show will most likely go on without her.

Reports surfaced on Christmas Eve that execs at the production company that does “Mom Logic” as well as hit shows like “TMZ” felt that Gosselin was too controversial.

Gosselin has also had several awkward TV appearances after her breakup with Jon Gosselin.

She is also filming a project with TLC, which aired “Jon & Kate Plus 8” until November.

Her former husband, Jon Gosselin, will not let the couple’s eight children appear on TV as he battles TLC in court.

The couple was officially divorced right before Christmas after 10 years of marriage.
