Parents concerned about the class action lawsuit in Lower Merion over alleged webcam snooping want more answers
The parents of packed into a meeting to listen to lawyers explain how to try to block a class action lawsuit.
A 15-year-old filed a awsuit against the school district. He alleged school employees illegally spied on him at home using a webcam on his school issued laptop.
The meeting was arranged by parents who are also lawyers, and it was is aimed at convincing other parents to stop the potentially costly lawsuit by filing another legal action.
Attorney Michael Boni is also a father of a 9th grader and organized the meeting.
The parents want to stop a class action lawsuit from going forward because the same taxpayers who would benefit from the suit are also paying for the district to defend itself.
