Man Fatally Stabbed, 2 Others Hurt

Stabbings Occur Inside Northeast Philly Apartment

PHILADELPHIA - Police said they are investigating the deadly stabbing of a man in his 50s inside his Northeast Philadelphia apartment building.

It happened inside his third-floor apartment in the Evergreen Towers on the 2300 block of Woodward Street, said.

The victim had called for assistance from the building. Two employees arrived to help and were also injured, police said. They were taken to Aria Health Frankford for treatment.

Blood was also reportedly seen inside an elevator at the complex.

SkyFox showed one person was seen being taken from the premises in handcuffs. Investigators said they have in custody a person of interest, who is also being treated at a local hospital.
