WYNDMOOR, Pa. - A murder rocks a typically quiet community in Montgomery County. The body of a woman was found in her home on Mermaid Lane in Wyndmoor. Tonight police believe they have the man responsible.

It was inside her own home where police found the body of the 38 year old woman who is not yet being identified. A source telling us she was found tied up and gagged when police found her yesterday morning.

A quiet Montgomery County street is rattled by murder. Springfield township police were called to the Mermaid Lane home in Wyndmoor early Sunday morning. Police aren't saying anything including how the woman died. But they have arrested 31 year old Johnny Fossett who lived with his girlfriend and her 17 year old son.

Ann Colley lives just next door. She heard some commotion early Sunday morning and a car drive off. Several hours later police were at her door.

Neighbors say police spent all day Sunday collecting evidence that quickly led to an arrest. For neighbors of this quiet suburban street a case of apparent domestic violence hits close to home.

Johnny Fossett was denied bail and remains in the Montgomery County jail on first degree murder and other charges.
