Police tell Fox 29 they're comfortable they have the suspect who may be responsible for a sex assault right in the heart of Center City, after a woman was pulled into an alley and attacked Friday morning.
The suspect had not be charged as of Saturday morning.
The alleged attach happened near 16th and Chestnut in an area where residents we spoke with seemed shocked.
Just a block away from those sexual assaults is where a group of teens beat up a cab driver and his passenger earlier this week.
Police say the attack happened just before 1:30 a.m. Friday morning when a 21-year-old woman was assaulted in an alley after leaving a local club.
The attack in Stock Exchange Place was in the heart of Center City.
Sources say the young woman was helping band members unload equipment outside the G Lounge in the alley.
She was locked out of the building and a man came by to offer to help her get in another entrance.
That is when she says she was attacked.
Police said two women heard the alleged victim crying and called 9-1-1.
At least three men were picked up after the incident in the area and questioned.
The men were questioned at the Special Victims Unit.
