The leader of Lynn University in Florida still holds out hope that four students and two faculty missing in Haiti are still alive.
Students Christine Gianacaci, Brittany Gengle, Stephanie Crispanelli and Courtney Hayes and professors Richard Bruno and Patrick Hartwick are missing in the rubble of the Hotel Montana in Port-au-Prince.
Gianacaci is from Hopewell, N.J.
Lynn University president Kevin Ross is telling people to not give up, nine days after the massive Haiti earthquake.
He also wants the six people brought home, no matter what.
"A missing family member dead or alive must be returned to their loved ones," says Ross. "We have hope that whatever the days may bring that we have the United States government assurance that every person lost in this tragedy will be returned to their loved ones."
On a daily basis, some people have been found alive.
And in a recent earthquake in Turkey, someone survived for 12 days after being trapped under rubble.
A spokesman at the U.S. State Department said search and rescue efforts will continue at the Hotel Montana, and expert teams are looking through the concrete and rubble.
Gianacaci is part of the school's "Journey for Hope" group, which included 12 students and two advisors who were staying at the Hotel Montana.
