Fox 29 has learned Philadelphia police are investigating a woman's death several years ago at a house occupied by Linda Weston, the alleged ring leader in the House of Horror case.

Weston was arrested last Saturday, along with two men, after four mentally challenged people were found in a basement dungeon.
Weston, the two men and Weston's daughter face kidnapping and other charges after another victim was found this week, Weston's own niece.
But now, a death could be linked to this twisted human trafficking case of kidnapping, fraud and torture.
High-ranking sources are now confirming that investigators working on a special task force in this trail of terror are now looking into the death of a Philadelphia woman several years ago to determine if she died under any suspicious circumstances.
The incident several years ago happened in the Lawncrest section of Philadelphia where a woman was reportedly found dead in the basement of a home Weston shared with another suspect in this case.
Meanwhile Fox 29 confirmed that one of the victims rescued from the house of horrors basement, Herbert Knowles, has now left a facility here and returned to his family's home in Virginia. His condition is said to be improving.
Lawyers for the parents of another dungeon victim, Tamara Breeden, announced on Friday they will seek custody of Breeden's two young children . The children have been in DHS' care since they were recovered by police earlier this week.
Our sister station in West Palm Beach, Fl., where the suspects and the victims resided before they came to Philadelphia is reporting squalid conditions in the home where the three suspects and four victims stayed for an unknown period of time before they brought this trail of terror here to Philadelphia.

A 15-year-old girl reported missing in Florida turned up in Philadelphia, but she was not kidnapped.
Police say Benita Rodriguez ran away with the son of Gregory Thomas, one of the people charged in the trail of terror.
Rodriguez is now on here way back in Florida and her family.
