Stalker Destroys Jon Gosselin's Condo

PHILADELPHIA - Just when you thought Jon and Kate Gosselin's story couldn't get stranger, a deranged person is now stalking Jon Gosselin in New York.

TMZ and Us Magazine say a person broke into Jon Gosselin's apartment in Manhattan's Upper West Side on Saturday and destroyed most of the apartment with some type of big knife.

Police are now saying the damage was extensive. Many of his belongings were stolen, including a television, and other items were slashed or chopped up, such as clothing and furniture. An heirloom vase was shattered.

The stalker left a note for Gosselin stuck to a knife plunged into a bedroom dresser.

TMZ is reporting that the note call him a cheater and is signed "Hailey Glassman."

Gosselin, 32, lives in the apartment when he isn't visiting his children in Wernersville, Pa.

His ex-wife, Kate Gosselin, has primary custody of their eight children and ownership of the couple's $1.1 million house near Reading, Pa.

According to Us Magazine, there was $100,000 worth of damage to the apartment.

Gosselin's former girlfriend, Glassman, moved out of the apartment last week.

The Web site Radar Online says Glassman has hired an attorney and will speak with police.

On her Twitter account last week, Glassman accused Gosselin of keeping her rent money and not paying his landlord before she moved out.

Jon Gosselin has not publicly commented on the situation.
