PHILADELPHIA - An armed robbery suspect who police said photographed himself with his victim's cell phone has surrendered.
Kadeen Cooke, 18, turned himself in at the Philadelphia Police Department's North Detectives late Thursday night.
Attorney Shaka Johnson said his client called the moment he knew police were looking for him.
"He's here to clear his name, and I hope that the investigating bodies do not rush to judgment behind a photo in a cell phone. It is just a picture, and I don't believe that there will be any additional evidence otherwise. It's just a picture," Johnson said.
Police allege that Cook photographed himself after stealing a woman's cell phone during a robbery last month.
