Swine Flu Shots Today Locally

Walmart in New Jersey and the state of Pennsylvania are offering swine flu, or H1N1 shots, locally through this weekend. But there are rules and restrictions.

Walmart stores in Cinnaminson, Deptford, West Berlin and Hammonton are offering the shots from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Walmart will offer shots as long as supplies are available.

The Courier Post reports that Mollen Immunization Clinics, Wal-Mart's partner in the effort, charges a $15 administrative fee for those whose insurance doesn't cover the shot.

Mollen reportedly does not recognize major local insurers like Blue Cross and Blue Shield of New Jersey. Mollen also doesn't accept New Jersey Medicaid, said the newspaper.
