Suspect Lived In Newark, Philly In Recent Years

HADDONFIELD, N.J. - Fox 29 has learned that local terror suspect Sharif Mobley worked at a south New Jersey nuclear plant before he went to Yemen.

Mike Drewniak, a spokesman for Gov. Chris Christie, says his office has been told that Sharif Mobley was supervised and had no problems when he worked at three power plants in Salem County from 2002 to 2008.

PSEG Nuclear spokesman Joe Delmar said Thursday that Mobley worked as a laborer for several contractors at the three plants and others in the region.

Mobley, 26, who grew up in New Jersey and later lived in Philadelphia.

The FBI is investigating the case of Mobley, who's accused of trying to shoot his way out of a hospital in Yemen.

One of the guards died, and the suspect was caught after a chase.

Mobley's father says he's "no terrorist."

Public records show Mobley had addresses in recent years in Philadelphia and Newark, Del. The Baltimore FBI office covers Delaware.
