TLC showed scenes in “Broken Dreams, Broken Promises, Broken Episodes” of Jon Gosselin apparently ignoring his children while on his cellphone and chatting with paparazzi and fans while his children stared at him.
The clips were part of two episodes of unaired footage that had
narration by Kate Gosselin, who at one point compared Jon to the
family’s two dogs.
Jon Gosselin is seeking $5 million in damages from TLC and
claims that TLC violated Pennsylvania child-labor laws.
TLC has repeatedly denied that it violated any labor laws, and said the Gosselins had an attorney and an agent when they signed their most-recent contract with TLC.

TLC wants unspecified damages from Jon Gosselin in its suit and
wants to bar him from making public appearances without its
permission.
The two sides will face off in court on December 14 in
Maryland. The powerful law firm of Williams & Connelly is
representing TLC.
In October, TLC filed its detailed breach on contract suit after Jon Gosselin refused to allow TLC to film his children for "Jon & Kate Plus 8."
The TLC lawsuit alleges that Gosselin hasn't met the obligations of his contract as an exclusive employee, has appeared on other programs for pay and made unauthorized disclosures about the show.
Gosselin has starred for four years in "Jon & Kate Plus 8," which has been consumed by marital turmoil as Gosselin and his wife, Kate, feuded, then filed for divorce.
