Local "Jackass" star Bam Margera was arrested in New Orleans as Mardi Gras started, says TMZ.

The Chester County resident was in Louisiana for the kickoff of the biggest party week of the year.

But Margera told TMZ he got in trouble on Monday after he went swimming in a pool with all his clothes on.

"Yeah, I was swimming in a pool with my clothes on at Mardi Gras," he told TMZ.

Margera was taken into custody but it was unclear if he was charged.

He was later released by New Orleans police.
